In comparison to traditional hookah, OOKA is the future of hookah. It is cleaner as no charcoal is required, which eliminates the inconvenience of preparation, ash, and mess. It utilizes a pod-based system and can be enjoyed in just 5 minutes. OOKA is also portable and easy to assemble.
On top of that, OOKA utilizes advanced heating technology that ensures each pod is heated to its optimum temperature thanks to a smart NFC chip which reads and controls temperature. By doing so, OOKA delivers perfectly consistent sessions every single time.
OOKA is NOT a vape device and does not contain or use e-liquid. Flavors are delivered through a range of OOKA pods that contain authentic and real hookah molasses and tea based molasses from top brands such as Al Fakher and Zodiac. These pods are hand-packed with care.
OOKA utilizes an advanced heating technology that ensures each pod is heated to its optimum temperature thanks to a smart NFC chip which reads and controls temperature 25 times per second. By doing so, OOKA delivers perfectly consistent sessions every single time.

Each pod delivers one session that can last around 50-60 minutes, depending on the intensity. While there is a pause function to ensure you make full use of your pods, they are not reusable or refillable and will not work if inserted for a second session.
There is no break time needed between each session! Simply drop another pod to enjoy your next session (and make sure you enjoy them responsibly). To enjoy the best experience, we suggest purging your OOKA by blowing gently into the mouthpiece after each session to remove any residue from your last session. Also, make sure to clean the lid and pusher seal of any condensation, too!
When you first receive your OOKA, fully charge it for 6 hours before your first session. A fully charged OOKA provides up to 3 sessions of enjoyment (depending on atmospheric conditions).
After your first use, charge OOKA for 3 hours whenever the battery is drained.

When you first receive your OOKA, fully charge it for 6 hours before your first session. The best practice is to leave it charging overnight. Watch the “Charging Your OOKA” video to learn more
When fully charged, the 4 battery LED indicators will be white.
A fully charged OOKA will provide up to 3 hours of enjoyment (depending on atmospheric conditions).
No, OOKA comes with its dedicated power supply unit and you should only charge your OOKA with it. With each full charge, OOKA lasts up to 3 hours – plenty of time to enjoy a couple of sessions.
a) If OOKA is awake (the battery lights are on), press and hold the power button until you hear a beep.
b) If the device is asleep, press the power button to wake it up, then press and hold it until you hear a beep. Watch the "Easy Steps to Start My Session" video to know more.
OOKA automatically switches off when a session ends around the 70-minute mark. To manually switch it off, just hold down the power button.
When your session ends, OOKA will automatically switch off with red flashing lights indicating that the device is hot, and you should handle it with care. Once you see the red lights turn off, you should remove the flavor pod, clean the OOKA device, and store it. Watch the “Finishing Your Session” video to know more.
Yes. You can activate the pause mode by pressing the power button twice within 5 seconds. When the purple light starts pulsing, that means your session is now on pause.
Pause mode is dependent on the pod you’re currently using.
To ensure you'll enjoy the best experience, we recommend a maximum of 2 pauses per pod. You can, however, use the pause function more than twice
OOKA will stay in pause mode for a maximum of 40 minutes. After which, the device will turn off for safety reasons. However, you can power up OOKA and continue your session with the same pod (if you did not remove it).

If you’re switching off halfway through your session, remove the pod, but remember to reinsert it to continue enjoying your remaining session. If you insert a new pod, you will lose the remaining session on the pod you have removed.
OOKA will beep rapidly, and the Portal ring will flash red for 10 seconds before switching off. If the lid is closed within 10 seconds, your shisha session will resume. Do note that even if your device has switched off, you may continue your remaining session by turning it back on.
NEVER WASH YOUR OOKA WITH WATER, THIS WILL PERMANENTLY DAMAGE THE DEVICE. Only the water tank can be washed with water. Please watch “OOKA cleaning” to see how to clean your OOKA properly.
It is advisable to clean your OOKA using the cleaning brush that comes with the device after every session when your device has cooled down. You can learn more by watching the “OOKA cleaning” video.

Always remove used OOKA pods and clean your OOKA after each use. If you’re experiencing a stale taste , gently blow down the hose to expel it. You can also change your OOKA seals by using the spare set included.
- Adjust your draw pressure using the hose airflow adjuster.
- Ensure that the OOKA device body and water tank are properly assembled.
- Ensure that the vent valve is correctly installed.
- Ensure that the hose is properly connected.
- Check if the tank water level is close to the water level indicator.
- Check that both seals on the pods are removed (if applicable).
- Use chilled or room temperature water (and not warm water).
- Wait for an extra 7-8 minutes after OOKA is ready as this warms up the pod even more.
- In contrast to traditional hookah, wait for about 10 seconds between each puff.
OOKA is different from traditional hookah. It's a revolutionary way of enjoying hookah with utmost convenience. Yes, you can alter the draw pressure by using the airflow adjuster on the mouthpiece. Three draw levels are available, ranging from a regular draw similar to conventional hoses to a smooth and easy draw. Try the different setting to find out which works best for you.
OOKA is shipped in “travel mode” to prevent it from accidentally switching on during transit. Connect your device to the PSU and a wall socket to “wake it up”. Try a different wall socket if it still doesn’t power up. Alternatively, check if your battery is fully charged. If the green LED light illuminates, but OOKA doesn’t power up, charge it for 6 hours before attempting to switch it on again.
To enter Travel Mode, disconnect your OOKA from the charger, open the lid, then press and hold the power button. The lights at the top will turn solid green; after approximately 15 seconds, when it starts to flash, release the power button and close the lid. OOKA will be in Travel Mode and the power button won’t work unless you connect OOKA to the charger and charge it to “wake it up”.
Before storing your OOKA, ensure that it is clean, dry and that there is no used pod in the device. Always store the device in a dry, low-moisture environment, out of reach of children, and avoid places that experience temperatures above 104°F (40°C) or below 41°F (5°C) . If you are storing OOKA for long periods of time (or for shipping / travelling purposes), please charge the device to about 40-60% of its capacity prior to storage and place it in “travel mode”.
To maintain battery health, it is advised to charge OOKA once every 3 months when not in use or whilst keeping it stored. When storing for more than a year, the device battery should be discharged and charged in order to restore its energy and capacity.
If your OOKA is switched on and the Portal lid is open, the Portal ring will flash white to indicate that an OOKA pod should be inserted.
If your device stopped during a session and the Portal ring remained solid red for 20 seconds, followed by the battery LEDs flashing, it means that your device has overheated. For safety reasons, the device has switched off. Do not remove the OOKA pod. Let the device cool and start again later.
The Portal ring will flash red to indicate that it is cooling down. OOKA will enter sleep mode when the device is fully cooled.
This indicates that no pod has been detected, the device has not been able to detect the “recipe” chip, or a used or non-genuine pod has been inserted. Either insert a new pod and/or make sure it is properly aligned in the Portal so the device can read the “recipe” chip.
This means that the pod cannot be paused, and your session will continue. If the pause function is activated, the Portal ring pulses purple.
in this case, OOKA will beep rapidly, and the Portal ring will flash red for 10 seconds before switching off. If it’s placed upright within 10 seconds, you can continue the session. Do not continue or switch on if the device is cracked or water has entered the device. Contact our customer care team to get help. If the device switches off, you can resume your session as long as it is safe to do so by switching the machine back on.
If your OOKA is cool, and when the battery is fully drained, it needs to reach a minimum of 15% charge in order to power up again.
If OOKA is hot, let it cool for about 30-45 minutes at room temperature and then charge the device for at least 15 minutes.
If your OOKA is cool, just keep it charging. Eventually, the LEDs will show the normal charging progress.
If your OOKA is hot, wait until the battery cools down (about 30-45 minutes) and the device will begin charging. This is a safety feature developed to prevent OOKA from charging while the battery is too hot.
i). Make sure that you've inserted the pod with its pod ring tab facing 9 o'clock.
ii). Ensure that you're using an original pod, and that the pod ring has not been tampered with.
Do not pry the lid open with force. Try to open the lid gently. If there is strong resistance, use the tongs to reach in and lift the pod.
Please bear in mind that OOKA needs to be charged for at least 4 hours before the first use. Please try this: End the session, remove the pod, clean the device and then charge it for 4 hours. It may take 1-2 cycles of full charge and discharge for the indicator to calibrate. This is normal.

You should replace them if any part is lost or broken. The better you care for your OOKA, the longer the parts will last.

Firstly, check if your pods have freshness seals. Most OOKA pods have two freshness seals, one on the top and one on the bottom. Simply peel and dispose, then insert your pod.
Please ensure that the pod ring tab is facing 9 o’clock.
Yes, it is a crucial part of the pod. The innovative smart NFC microchip empowers OOKA to dynamically control temperature and power 25 times per second, ensuring consistently perfect sessions every time.
Each pod delivers one session that can last for 50-60 minutes depending on the intensity of the session. To make full use of your pods, you can pause your session. In order to ensure that we deliver the best experience, if you remove a pod midway and start with a new pod, the first cannot be used.
The pods and NFC rings are also easily recyclable! Simply separate the ring from the pod and recycle as per your local practice
Please remove the pod as soon as the light has switched off and the pod has cooled down. This will make cleaning your OOKA device much easier after each session.
If you don’t remove the pod in the OOKA device after your session, there is a chance it might get stuck. If that happens, please use the tongs to remove the OOKA pod. Remember, please do not force the lid open.
The “best before” date for OOKA pods is 1 year from its production date.

Our pods are filled only with premium molasses exclusively formulated for OOKA. There is no liquid nicotine or e-liquid in the pods.
You won't be able to start your session unless the pod ring tab faces 9 o'clock.

Whilst staying true to originals like Al Fakher’s Lemon Mint, pod formulations are unique to OOKA. For the best experience, it is highly recommended to store pods in a dry, low-moisture environment. It is also strongly recommended to avoid storing pods in places that experience temperatures above 104°F (40°C) or below 41°F (5°C).
Our tobacco pod brands, such as Al Fakher contain tobacco and nicotine levels limited to the amount that is naturally present in the tobacco leaf. However, Zodiac, which is a non-tobacco, nicotine-free alternative, contains tea-based molasses that provides consumers with a similar experience.

Domestic Shipping Restrictions
Certain states within the United States have regulations that prevent us from shipping tobacco products to residents. Customers in these states are still welcome to order non-tobacco items from our store. If your order includes tobacco products and shipping to one of these restricted states, it may be modified or canceled accordingly. You will be notified of any changes, and your payment authorization will be adjusted to reflect the updated total.
The states listed below currently prohibit the purchase of smokable products from online retailers.
